CARY, N.C. – Senior Hannah Pealstrom (Chicago, IL) placed 24th overall with a time of 21:17.6 to lead the Shaw University women's cross country team at the 2019 HBCU Challenge at the WakeMed Soccer Park Saturday morning.
Sophomore Luisa Cury (Araraquara, Brazil) ran a time of 21:35.7 for 27th place while junior Kaydi-Ann Wint (Kingston, Jamaica) registered a finishing time of 22:54.6 (42nd place) to round out the top three runners for Shaw. The Lady Bears concluded the meet 10th overall with a total of 215 points while Fayetteville State won the event with a total of 62 points.
