RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University women's volleyball team has added another pair of talented athletes to its roster as both Esther Dogbe and Amari Earl will join the Lady Bears for the upcoming 2020 season.
Dogbe is a 5-foot-8 middle hitter from Hudson Catholic High School in Irvington, NJ while Earl hails from Charlotte, NC where she currently attends Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology and is a 5-foot-11 opposite hitter. Both young ladies will start at Shaw in the fall of 2020.
"Esther is an athletic phenom who is going to close blocks and bring a lot of offensive production through the middle,'' said Head Coach, Jonathan Paulk. "Amari is a fantastic blocker whose length is going to cause problems for our opponents' outside hitters."
''These two athletes are part of a freshman class that is going to bring our athleticism to another level. They both show great work ethic and are highly competitive. I'm excited to get this team together."
Both Dogbe and Earl joins both Paige Worden and Mallory Brown who signed back on Jan. 23.
