COLUMBIA, S.C. – Shaw University's 4x400 meter relay team finished second on Saturday at the University of South Carolina Open to lead the Lady Bears outdoor track and field team, which produced a total of four top-10 finishes at the Sheila & Morris Cregger Track facility on the campus of USC.
Sophomore Damoni Neal (Newport News, VA), senior La'Cherie Clarke (Raleigh, NC), junior Kaydi-Ann Wint (Kingston, Jamaica) and TaShay Roberts (Bloomfield, CT) teamed up together to run a time of 3:50.20 in the 4x400m relay.
- Wint also earned bronze in the 400m dash with a time of 56.46.
- Senior Kyla Sanders (Hampton, VA) tabbed 10th in the 400m hurdles with a finishing time of 1:05.81.
- Junior Laquell Harris (Nassau, Bahamas) placed fifth with a throw of 13.29m in the shot put.

The Lady Bears will look to compete in the prestigious Penn Relays next week, beginning on Apr. 25 through Apr. 27 in Philadelphia, Pa.
