WOMEN’S TENNIS HOST FAYETTEVILLE STATE FOR SENIOR DAY

RALEIGH, N.C. – Shaw University women's tennis will host Fayetteville State University Monday (Apr. 22) for senior day at Lions Park. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

Lions Park is located on 516 Dennis Ave, Raleigh, N.C. 27610 and admission is free and open to the public.

The Lady Bears (12-9) are still in the hunt for the Southern Division crown, Shaw enters Monday's match with a 9-1 record in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and 5-1 in the South. The Lady Bears are coming off a 4-3 setback to Bluefield State in its last outing.

The FSU Lady Broncos (6-8) are 3-4 in the CIAA and 0-4 in the South this season. Last timeout, FSU lost to Johnson C. Smith, 4-3.

Shaw and Fayetteville met earlier during the season with the Lady Bears earning a 7-0 sweep of the Lady Broncos back on Mar. 19 in Fayetteville.
