RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University women's soccer team conceded a goal in the 85th minute against the visiting Trojans of Mount Olive Wednesday afternoon at the MAC Sports & Entertainment Complex.

The loss dips Shaw to 1-2 overall while Mount Olive improves to 2-0 on the year.

The Lady Bears and the Trojans both played a scoreless first half, with Shaw recording four shots to UMO's five.

In the second stanza, the Lady Bears defense withstood an unscathed stretch of shots and corner kicks from the Trojans but during the 85th minute, UMO broke through with a goal from Erica Boswell who found the back of the net after a pass from Ashley Lindsay which would ultimately solidified the win over Shaw.

Shaw will return to action Saturday, Sept. 21 at Coker. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
