RALEIGH, N.C. – In preparation for the 2018-19 season, the Shaw University women's basketball team will host a segment of question and answers leading up to the first game of the season. The Q&A's will give insiders an outlook of each player and what their expectations are for the upcoming season.
Shaw, under the direction of 19th year head coach Jacques Curtis, returns two players from a season ago: senior guard Tahniya Sweatt (Pasadena, CA) and graduate senior guard KlinTisha Martin (Atlanta, GA). The Lady Bears welcome nine new players that features six true freshman and three transfers.

The Lady Bears will open its regular-season on Nov. 9 against Pitt-Johnstown in the Conference Challenge. All of Shaw's home games will be broadcast live on the Shaw Bears Sports Network.
