RALEIGH, N.C. – Both the Shaw University men's and women's basketball programs will conclude their home finale on Wednesday, Feb. 21 with a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division doubleheader against Fayetteville State University at C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium.
The women's game will tip-off at 6 p.m., with the men's game to begin following the senior night recognition where Shaw University Athletics will honor 12 total senior student-athletes immediately after the conclusion of the women's game.

The Lady Bears (6-20, 3-11 CIAA) will face a hot Lady Broncos (14-9, 9-5 CIAA) team whom have won their last 10 outings. Shaw has been led by senior LaQuisha Taylor (Charlotte, NC) who averages 18.1 ppg while Shantel Bennett anchors FSU's offensive attack with an average of 10.9 ppg.
This will be the second meeting between the two programs this season. Shaw suffered an 86-59 setback to the Lady Broncos in Fayetteville, N.C. on Jan. 27.
On the men's side, the Bears (18-8, 10-4 CIAA) are looking to even the series against the Broncos (7-18, 4-10 CIAA) after FSU took down Shaw, 74-72 on Jan. 27. The Bears have won their last four-games as senior DeAngelo Stephens-Bell (Jacksonville, FL) and senior Savon Goodman (Philadelphia, PA) both post 18.6 ppg.
Josh Bryant leads the Broncos in scoring at 15.4 ppg as FSU has lost their last games entering Wednesday's game.
