ROGERS SELECTED CIAA SOFTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

RALEIGH, N.C. – After helping her team to a 6-2 record in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) record in last week's competition, Shaw University softball player Kiana Rogers (Fort Atkinson, WI) was selected as the CIAA Softball Defensive Player of the Week announced by the conference office Tuesday.

 

Rogers, a junior catcher/outfielder was 15-of-15 in putouts for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in the Lady Bears two wins at Livingstone. She ranks second second on the team for total putouts with 38 out of 46 chances.
