RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University men's basketball team returns to the historic C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium on Wednesday, Feb. 5 as they host the Golden Bulls from Johnson C. Smith University. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Wednesday's game has been deemed at "White Out" with the first 200 fans receiving a souvenir t-shirt.

Shaw enters the contest at 5-17 overall and 2-10 (CIAA) play, most recently picking up a crucial 86-80 road win at Lincoln (PA) last Saturday ending a season long losing skid.
Junior guard Greyson Kelley (Raleigh, NC) leads the Bears in the scoring department averaging 20.8 points per game. Freshman guard Nigel Martin (Cleveland, OH) contributes 15.9 ppg while senior guard DaVaughn Kelsie (Richmond, VA) adds 15.4 ppg.
Johnson C. Smith (13-7, 7-4 CIAA) returns to the court after dropping an 82-74 decision at home against Elizabeth City State University on Feb. 1. The Golden Bulls are led on offense by Cayse Minor who averages 18.3 points per game followed by Nenad Milenkovic 12.8 ppg. Xavir Jones rounds out the double-digit scorers at 11.1 ppg along with seven rebounds per outing.
This will be the first meeting between the Bears and Golden Bulls this season with Shaw winning the last three contests over JCSU.
