RALEIGH, N.C. With the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft a day away, Shaw University's Amir Hinton (Philadelphia, PA) has been featured on ESPN's The Undefeated, profiling the 2019 NBA draft.

The 2018-19 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Player of the Year led the NCAA DII in scoring averaging 29.4 points per game. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game while shooting .894 from the free throw line. Five times this season, he scored 40 or more points in a game including a season high 52 points at Tampa (Dec. 19, 2018) while racking up multiple accolades after his junior season campaign for the 2018-19 year.


The 2019 NBA draft is slated to air live Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
