RALEIGH, N.C. (April 26) - Kamille Patrick of Shaw was named CIAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Patrick heaved the javelin 111-5 at the Aggie Classic this past weekend to lead all CIAA javelin throwers this season. The Conway, S.C., native finished third in the event at the Aggie Classic, which was held in Greensboro, N.C.

This is the first weekly track & field honor for Patrick, who is also a first-team All-CIAA volleyball player for the Lady Bears.
