GREENSBORO, N.C. (April 22) – Symone Wright set a school record as the Shaw women's track & field team recorded 13 top-10 finishes at the Aggie Classic this weekend (April 21-22).

Wright broke the school mark in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:02.96, good enough for third place in the event. She also finished third in the 100 hurdles.

Wright was part of four top-10 finishes at the meet. Several Lady Bears including Ashanti Wright, Gabrielle Henry, Imani Corbett, Micah Wright and Brijette Basden were each part of two top-10 finishes.
