Koirala Wins Second CIAA Weekly Tennis Honor

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 11) - Prerana Koirala of Shaw University earned her second CIAA Women's Tennis Player of the Week award on Monday after her performance last week against Division I North Carolina Central.

Koirala defeated her Division I opponent 7-5, 5-2 in No. 2 singles at Worthdale Park. Her singles' record this season is 10-1.

The Lady Bears will host Johnson C. Smith on Wednesday, April 12, on Senior Day at Worthdale Park. The match begins at 2 p.m.
