ELIZABETH CITY ST. OUTLAST SU 3-1 IN SEASON OPENER

Elizabeth City, NC – In their season opening
volleyball match, the SU Lady Bears came up short 3-1 (18-30, 30-26, 31-33,
25-30) to Elizabeth City State. Leading SU was Jessica Perry with 10 kills,
and Cheryl Salter with 27 assists and five service aces.
ECSU got their first win of the season (1-4) behind the double digit performance of Tanika Hudgins who finished with 16 kills and 11 dig.
The Lady Bears will see action again next Tuesday, September 5, when they travel to Salisbury, NC to face Livingstone College.
