Lady Bears Lose in Championships

The Shaw volleyball team lost in the first round of the 2003 CIAA Championships.  Shaw lost its first match to western division opponent #4 Winston-Salem St. 3-1 (30-27, 26-30, 28-30, 26-30).  The Lady Bears rebounded in their second match defeating Virginia Union 3-0 (30-23, 30-19, 30-25).  The Lady Bears season was ended at the hands of North Carolina Central 3-0 (20-30, 13-30, 15-30).
