Johnson to Represent CIAA, Shaw on SAAC

Shaw cross country and track and field participant Candis Johnson will represent the CIAA on the NCAA Division II Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).  Johnson, a junior from Fort Washington, MD, is president of Shaw University’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee and represents Shaw on the CIAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee.  Johnson submitted an application, which was granted, to serve on the national Student Athlete Advisory Committee to represent the CIAA.

Johnson is majoring in Computer Science.  Her first meeting will be the SAAC-Management Council summit, which will take place July 14-18 in Baltimore, MD.
