Lady Bears Win Sixth Straight
BOWIE, MD - The fifth-ranked Shaw women's basketball
team defeated Bowie State 110-81 at A.C. Jordan Arena.
Six Lady Bears scored in double figures, led by Joy Hairston
with 22. Kiarsha Curtis and Nastassia Boucicault had 16 points a-piece.
The Lady Bears shot 54 percent from the field.
Shaw will host Virginia State on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at
Spaulding Gymnasium.
