Hairston Named Player of the Week, Again

For the second time this year, Joy Hairston was named CIAA Player of the Week.  The senior from Durham averaged 21.3 points, 8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and one steal as the third ranked Lady Bears picked up conference wins over Livingstone, Saint Paul’s and Fayetteville State this week. In Shaw’s 99-63 win over Saint Paul’s, Hairston finished with 23 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals to lead the Lady Bears.
