BEARS RANKED IN
USA TODAY ESPN DIVISION II TOP 25
October 31, 2007 – The Shaw University Lady Bears have climbed the ladder early in the women’s basketball preseason polls. The USA TODAY ESPN Division II Coaches Poll has Shaw University positioned as the 13th rank in the Top 25. This is a prestigious achievement as the Lady Bears were not ranked at the conclusion of 2006 – 2007 season as they finished with a record of 18 – 10. Furthermore, Shaw stands as the only CIAA representative institution positioned in the poll.
