Lady Bears Navigate North for Preseason

October 31, 2007 – Norfolk, VA – Seventh year Head Coach Jacques Curtis and the Shaw University Lady Bears hit the road early for their preseason exhibition against the Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs at the Ted Constant Center. The Lady Bears, of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), displayed tough teamwork and electrifying chemistry during their late night Halloween challenge with the Colonial Athletic Association’s (CAA) Lady Monarchs. Shaw’s accelerated offense was gassed by the high octane shooting of  #21 NaKeisha Anthony (Guard / Charlotte, NC) and #3 Tanisha McGaughey (Guard / Norfolk, VA).
 

The Shaw University Lady Bears will participate in one final exhibition before they start regular season competition. On Friday, November 9, 2007, the Lady Bears will face the M.I. Express. The game will be held in C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium and begin at 7:30 p.m.
