Kiarsha Curtis led Shaw with 12 points as the 16th-ranked Lady Bears beat St. Paul's 55-30 at Taylor-Whitehead Gymnasium.
In a sloppy game where the combined turnovers totaled 45, Shaw held St. Paul's to 15 percent shooting in the first half and led 30-13 at halftime. St. Paul's shot slightly better in the second half, shooting 21 percent but Shaw was just too much. Jessica Hawkins scored 11 points, handed out five assists and had seven steals. Azizi O'Bryant led the Lady Tigers with seven points.
Shaw will play at Bowie on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
