Hawkins Named Player of the Week

Shaw guard Jessica Hawkins was named CIAA Player of the Week.  The 5-9 junior from Raleigh averaged 14 points, 8.6 assists, 7.6 rebounds and 3 steals for the Lady Bears in three victories last week.   In the 87-78 win over Fayetteville State, Hawkins barely missed posting a triple-double with 10 points, 13 assists, and 9 rebounds to go along with 6 steals.
