Five Lady Bears scored in double figures, led by Latasha Shipman's 24 points and 11 rebounds as Shaw beat North Carolina Central 86-58 at McLendon-McDougald Gymnasium.  Margiella Mobley had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Jessica Hawkins had a great all-around game with 12 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and five steals and Kiarsha Curtis and Joy Hairston had 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Lady Bears shot 50 percent from the field for the game and held the Lady Eagles (4-4) to 34 percent shooting from the field.  Tiona Beatty led the Lady Eagles with 19 points.

The Lady Bears will be in action on December 15 at Livingstone at 6:00 p.m.
