Women's Basketball is one for the most Improved

The Shaw women's basketball team had the second most improved women's division II basketball record for the 2002-03 season.  The Lady Bears, under third year head coach Jacques Curtis, went 31-3 this past season, an improvement of 13 games from the 2001-02 season.  Armstrong-Atlantic State finished ranked first with an improvement of 15 games and finished 2002-03 season with a record of 27-4, up from 11-18 during the 2001-02 season.
