Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach

James Hill enters his first year as a assistant men's basketball coach. Hill is no stranger to Shaw having spent the last five seasons as the assistant women's basketball coach, being an integral part in the Lady Bears winning three-straight CIAA Championships. 

Prior to coming to Shaw, Hill was the assistant boy's coach at Apex High School. He also spent two years as the assistant coach at Northern Nash.

Hill is from Macon, GA and played at Shaw from 1980-83.  He received his bachelors degree from Shaw University in 2003.
