Lady Bears Finish 13th at HBCU Classic

The Lady Bears finished 13th out of 17 competitors at the HBCU Cross Country Classic, held as part of the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary.

Shaw finished ahead of Chowan, Livingstone, Fayetteville State and Johnson C. Smith. 

Quanika Blackmon was the first across the line for the Lady Bears, crossing the finish line of the 5 kilometer course with a time of 20:39.6 - good for 17th place. 

The next highest finisher was Moneaque Baker who finished with a time of 23:59.4 in 71st place.
