WOMEN’S SOCCER BLANKED BY LIFE, 6-0 ON SUNDAY

MARIETTA, Ga. – The Shaw University women's soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision to Life University on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Lady Bears stand 1-4 overall while the Running Eagles improve to 3-3 on the season.

 

Shaw registered six total shots and three shot on goals for the contest. Freshman Laura Regidor (Zamora, Spain) recorded eight saves.

 

Life scored four goals in the first half and two in the second. The Running Eagles accounted for 25 total shots.

 

The Lady Bears will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Lincoln (Pa.). Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
