Women's Game | Shaw vs. Lincoln (Pa.): The Lady Bears are coming off a 73-49 loss at Bowie State on Saturday, Jan. 6. Sophomore Lervencia Johnson-Tyler (Many, LA) hauled in her fourth double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds but it would not be enough for the Lady Bears to overcome a 10-point deficit in the third quarter that led to Bulldogs pulling away from Shaw.

Shaw (3-12, 1-3 CIAA) has lost their last six games and will look to snap that skid versus the Lady Lions who are on a roll, having won their last four games. LU (9-4, 4-1 CIAA) is coming off a 72-61 win over Saint Augustine's on Jan. 6. The Lady Lions had four players score in double figures led by McKenzie Spencer who came off the bench to score 14 points.

Both teams met twice during the 2016-17 season, including in the first round of the CIAA tournament where the Lady Lions edged Shaw with a 65-62 win in Charlotte, N.C.

Men's Game | Shaw vs. Lincoln (Pa.): Coming off a 73-64 win in overtime at Bowie State, the Bears (9-5, 3-1 CIAA) will look to wrap up their north trip with a win at Lincoln. The Bears came back from a six-point deficit in the second half to prevail in the win at Bowie State led by senior DeAngelo Stephens-Bell (Jacksonville, FL) who produced 26 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Senior Savon Goodman (Philadelphia, PA) also played a major role in the win, adding 24 points and 13 rebounds for Shaw.

LU (7-8, 2-3 CIAA) enters Monday's game looking to recover from a 60-53 setback to Saint Augustine's Saturday. Elijah Bush led all scorers with 22 points and 10 rebounds. The loss was the Lions first setback at home for the 2017-18 season.

This will be the first meeting between both teams this season. Shaw defeated Lincoln (Pa.) 76-67 in Raleigh, N.C. on Jan. 9, 2017.
