Lady Bears Ranked 19th in USA Today/ESPN Poll

[Raleigh, NC] - The Shaw women's basketball team is ranked 19th in the USA Today/ESPN Division II poll released today.

The Lady Bears fell from 11 after a 68-61 loss to Tusculum Monday night.  Shaw began the season ranked eighth in the poll.

Shaw is currently 1-1 on the season after opening play with a 55-49 win over Belmont Abbey on Saturday followed by the loss to Tusculum on Monday.

The Lady Bears are now idle until December 13, when they travel to Fort Lauderdale, FL to take on Nova Southeastern at 7:00 p.m.
