Men's Cross Country Finishes Eighth at Wolfpack Invitational
The Shaw men's cross country team finished in eighth place at the adidas Cross Country Challege which is part of the Wolfpack Invitational. They finished ahead of CIAA foe Saint Augustine's.
Brandon Jones was the first Bear to cross the finish line with a time of 16:23.7 over the five kilometer course. The time was good for 31st place.
Darius Berry was the next Shaw runner to cross the line - in 36th position - with a time of 16:41.2.
As a team, the Bears finished with an average time of 17:09.62 and 178 points. CIAA foe Winston-Salem State took fourth place in the event while Saint Augustine's came in ninth. North Carolina State won the event - with their runners sweeping the first seven slots of the event.
