SHAW’S HALL TO PLAY IN ANNUAL FCS BOWL GAME

RALEIGH, N.C. – Shaw University defensive back Quron Hall (Jacksonville, FL) has been chosen to the play in the 2018 FCS Bowl Sunday, Dec. 9 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The FCS National Bowl is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of the top players from college football FCS schools. The inaugural FCS National Bowl was played in December 2014 at FIU Stadium and moved to Daytona Beach Stadium in Daytona Beach, FL in 2016, which is home to FCS Bethune-Cookman Football. The National Bowl and FCS Bowl all-star weekend for Non-FBS schools has been the only games of its kind to attract numerous NFL & CFL scouts.

Hall who transferred to Shaw from Bethune Cookman, was two-year letterman. Hall was a starter this season for a Bears team that went 5-5 overall and 4-2 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). Hall registered 26 total tackles (16 solo), including five breakups, two big interceptions against rival Saint Augustine's in the 2018 Raleigh Classic and .5 tackle for loss.

The game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET at the Daytona Beach Stadium.
