Ulysses Hall and Jayson Royal Selected For NCAA Summit

(Raleigh, NC) -  Shaw football players Ulysses Hall and Jayson Royal have both been selected for the NCAA's prestigious NCAA Sports and Entertainment Summit. 

Hall, a junior defensive lineman, is a mass communications major, while Royal, a junior wide receiver, majors in business management.

The two will attend the Summit March 4-6 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.  The objective of the Summit is to give student-athletes the opportunity to explore the sports and entertainment industry from the perspective of professionals currently working in the field.  Hall and Royal will attend panel discussions, educational workshops, and participate in a community service project.

To be selected for the Summit, both student-athletes had to be nominated by athletic department administration, submit an application and resume, and be majoring in relevant fields.  They were selected from among thousands of applicants.
