WINGATE’S NCAA GAMES CAN BE HEARD ON WRML AND RED ZONE

 

            Raleigh, N.C.---- The Wingate University Sports Network will broadcast games involving the Bulldogs in the 2005 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional tournament, network officials announced this week. The first broadcast is Friday, March 11, as the Wingate women (20-10 overall) will face Columbus State University (20-10 overall) in the first round of the 2005 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional tournament.

 

Bulldog fans can listen to the Cougars and the Bulldogs on WRML (102.3 FM) in Pageland, S.C. The pre-game show will begin at 7:45 p.m. Friday night, March 11. In addition, Wingate fans can follow the Bulldogs on the internet at http://www.redzonemedia.com more

Wingate University junior center Veronica Taylor pulled down 50 rebounds in last week’s Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament, establishing a tournament record in the process. Taylor and sophomore guard Tanetra Barrett were named to the Food Lion SAC All-Tournament team. more
