WINGATE’S NCAA GAMES CAN BE HEARD ON WRML
AND RED ZONE
Raleigh,
N.C.---- The Wingate University
Sports Network will broadcast games involving the Bulldogs in
the 2005 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional tournament,
network officials announced this week. The first broadcast is
Friday, March 11, as the Wingate women (20-10 overall) will
face Columbus State University (20-10 overall) in the first
round of the 2005 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional
tournament.
Bulldog fans can listen to the Cougars and the
Bulldogs on WRML (102.3 FM) in Pageland, S.C. The pre-game
show will begin at 7:45 p.m. Friday night, March 11. In
addition, Wingate fans can follow the Bulldogs on the internet
at

FIRST-TEAM SELECTIONS ADVANCE ON TO
ALL-AMERICAN BALLOT
Aiken, S.C. - With regular season play and conference
tournaments completed, the 2004-05 Daktronicss Division II
Women's Basketball South Atlantic All-Region teams have been
released. Four of the 10 players selected will be competing in
this week's NCAA Division II Tournament.

WINGATE EARNS BID TO NCAA's; BULLDOGS OPEN FRIDAY WITH CSU
Indianapolis, Ind.----The Wingate
University women’s basketball team received an at-large bid to
the 2005 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional tournament,
officials announced late Sunday night from NCAA headquarters.
Wingate (20-10 overall) earned the number five seed in the
event and will face number four seed Columbus State (Ga.)
University (20-10 overall) in the first round of the regionals
Friday night at 8 p.m. The 2005 NCAA Division II South
Atlantic Regional tourney will be hosted in Spaulding
Gymnasium on the campus of Shaw University in Raleigh.
