As you know, Shaw University's football team is
in the "driver's seat" in determining our
participation in the CIAA Championship game on November 6th as
the Eastern Division Champs! One of the deciding factors will be
the game this Saturday in Elizabeth City!
To kick things off, there will be a PEP RALLY here on the
Campus Quad at 7 pm on Thursday, October 14. Come out and
meet the team, cheer with the cheerleaders, and rock with the
Platinum Sound!!!
We need to get in the "driver's seat", and be the
"the 12th man on the field" on Saturday, October 16!!!
All who can, let's CARAVAN to Elizabeth City State University
and support our team!!! Complete with car flags--we will meet at
8 am in the Estey Hall parking lot.
Greenville!! Rocky Mount!! Wilson!! And surrounding areas!!
We will do a "pit stop" in Williamston, NC at the
McDonald's right off of Highway 17 (Winn-Dixie/Wal-Mart Shopping
Center) around 10 am. If there is someone in that area who will
be joining us, please email me so that we can coordinate the
drive from there. The plan is to TAILGATE at the stadium
around 11:30 am, so the earlier we can get there, the more Shaw
Fans we will have to secure an area just for us!
The ticket office at the stadium will open at 11 am:
General Admission $8, Students with ID $5, In-Stadium Parking
$10, and General Parking $5.
