Peavy Named All-American
Linebacker Chris Peavy was named to the 2004 Daktronics All-American second team.  Peavy, a senior from Syracuse, NY, anchored the number one defense in the nation and was a Harlon Hill Award candidate for the best football player in Division II.  He led the Bears in tackles (124), tackles for loss (24), sacks (6) and fumble recoveries (4), while also being named first team All-CIAA.

This is the second year in a row a Shaw football player has been named to an All-America team.  Last year cornerback Shawn Woodard was named to Don Hansen's All-America team.
