SU HEAD FOOTBALL COACH DEONDRI CLARK RESIGNS
(6/15/06) – Shaw University Director of Athletics Al Carter, announced today that Deondri Clark has resigned his position as Head Football Coach to take the position as Head Coach at Fort Valley State University.
Clark has served as SU Head Coach for the past three years and has compiled a 22-10 win-loss record. Two years ago he guided SU to the CIAA and Pioneer Bowl Championships and a 10-2 record.
Carter also announced that present Assistant Head Coach Wayne Mclean will serve as the administrator of the football program. A search for Clark’s replacement is currently underway.
