So what's next?  Well, we'll no tomorrow sometime after 1:00 p.m. as they will show the national playoff selection show on ESPN News.  The Bears certainly deserve to be in the playoffs.  May even crack the top 25 this week.  The Bears have done their part and now it's all up to the selection committee.  Wouldn't that be something?  Shaw has to be one of the hottest teams in football.  With their backs against the wall after September 25, the Bears ran through the east and took Kentucky State as well as the two-time defending champion Broncos with them.  Did I tell you all that early this year, I got a call from someone over at Fayetteville State, I think from the coaches offices.  I answered the phone.  "Sports Information."  "Yes this is ________ calling from the CIAA Champion Broncos..."  Guess I won't be getting that call anytime soon.

Well even though things are up in the air, there is one thing for sure.  The Bears will see some kind of postseason action.  There are a lot of different scenarios that could happen involving other teams, but I won't get into all that.  I will wait to here the selection committee's decision.

For now the Bears are CIAA Champions.  Hopefully on December 11  they'll be national champions.
