Jones Named Player of the Week; Peavy Named Honorable Mention

Shaw corner back Marlon Jones was named CIAA Player of the Week. The junior from Jacksonville, FL, showed off for the hometown crowd in the third annual Willie E. Gary Classic in Jacksonville, FL. Jones recorded 10 tackles (4 solo), two tackles for loss, one interceptions and one sack. Jones is a transfer from U-Conn.

Linebacker Chris Peavy was named to d2football.com's honorable mention Player of the Week.  The senior from Syracuse, recorded 14 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sacks.
