Spring Drills to begin Monday; Spring Game Apr. 26

Spring football practice at Shaw University begins on Monday as excitement is in the air as Shaw begins its first spring practice in over 25 years.

"We're excited about out first spring football practice at Shaw University," said head football coach Gregory Ruffin. "I think having our first spring practice after going 7-3 in our inaugural year will be very beneficial to our ball club as we continue to build a program that will be respected throughout the CIAA and the country."

Shaw will hold its first scrimmage as well on Saturday April 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Ligon Field.
