Cheryl Nance Promotions in association with Voice of Choice Productions will hold “Shaw Homecoming Fite Nite” which will take place on homecoming Saturday October 9, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse Center located at 326 Tyron Road in Raleigh.  The main event will feature Jermel Barnes, former cruiser weight champion and 1996 graduate of Shaw University.

The fight was put together by Henry "Discombobulating" Jones, a 1978 graduate of Shaw University and a world renown professional ring announcer as seen on ESPN/HBO, along with his newly formed company Choice Productions.
