Senior Bios

42 Kenyon Booker
This Shaw Bear has played on the basketball team here at Shaw for three seasons. He has scored 735 points and grabbed 587 rebounds in his Bear career. He is currently second in the CIAA and 9th in the country in rebounding averaging 11.1 rebounds per game. Five times this season he has scored 20 points or more in a game. He also has 26 double-doubles in 68 career games as a Shaw Bear. Some of his other accolades include being named to the CIAA All-Tournament Team last season. No one will ever forget the game winning three-pointer he hit last year right here in Spaulding Gymnasium to beat Johnson C. Smith. 24 Harrell Butler
This Shaw Bears is one of the hardest workers Bear basketball has ever seen. He is not necessarily spectacular; he just gets the job done. He is averaging 10.8 points per game on the season and has scored 453 points and grabbed 226 rebounds during his Bear career, which spans 53 games. The first three-pointer he ever hit as a Bear was on December 7 of last year with two seconds remaining, which gave the Bears a 75-74 victory over Fayetteville State. 5 Cedric Lusk
This Shaw Bear is silky smooth. At 6-8, he presents match-up problems for most guards and is one of the most versatile players in the CIAA. He is one of the leaders in the CIAA in three-point shooting and assists to turnover ratio. He leads the team in assists with 74. He is averaging 10.9 points per game. He has scored 381 points, grabbed 181 rebounds and has handed out 112 assists, while logging 1,313 minutes. One of the best three-point shooters in Shaw history, Ladies and Gentlemen, from Long Beach, California, #5 Cedric Lusk.

11 Leroy Mosley
This Shaw Bear is currently shooting 38 percent on the season from three-point range. Perhaps the best game of his Bear career was an 11-point outing, including connecting on 3-of-6 three-pointers in a key 85-79 victory over a tough Catawba team back on December 2. This Shaw Bear handed out a season high five assists against Salem International on December 14. He has two career blocks, one of them helped to send the New Jersey Tech game into overtime, which the Bears won 84-72 back on December 10. From Compton, California #11 Leroy Mosley.

10 Jamaal Turner
This Shaw Bear made an immediate impact in his first game as a Bear on December 14 of last year. In his debut he scored 11 points and handed out three assists. Since then he has become one of the deadliest shooters from three-point range in the CIAA this season. Of his 30 made field goals on the season, 28 of those are made three-pointers. He had a season high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting from three-point range in the 79-52 win over St. Paul's January 21st. He is shooting an astonishing 44 percent from three-point range and in 15 career games as a Bear, has scored in double figures four time.
