Gold Tops Maroon in Scrimmage

The Shaw men's basketball team held their annual Maroon and Gold scrimmage last night with the Gold team winning 113 to 75. Philadelphia native Chaz Bailey led the way for the Gold team scoring 25 points while  shooting 6 for 8 from the free throw line.  Point guard Mike McLeod had six rebounds to go along with his six assists with only one turnover. For the Maroon team Louis Garcia shot the lights out connecting on seven straight three pointers to finish the game with 22 points. The men open their season on November 15th when travel to Salisbury, NC to compete in the Catawba College Classic held on the campus Catawba College.
