Coach Tucker is an alumna of both Shaw University and the Chi-chis. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science degree.

In addition to coaching the Chi-Chis and Chicos, she is a biology teacher at Wake County Middle School as well as serving as their cheerleading coach.
