RALEIGH, N.C. Shaw University celebrated the achievements of its 32 student-athletes who earned degrees in 2018 at the University's annual commencement exercise Saturday, May 12 at the Convention Center downtown Raleigh.


Many of the student-athletes were listed on the Dean's List, All-Conference (All-CIAA) selections, and members of Chi Alpha Sigma (CAS) while also appearing on conference (CIAA) academic honor roll. Two student-athletes were members of their 2018 champions of their respective sport teams, one 2016 champion, two 2016 runner-up champion, one 2018 runner-up champion while a total of three student-athletes won at least one conference championship at Shaw.
