Shaw Bowling Team Strikes Seventh Place at CIAA Round-up

19 – 21, 2007 –
Fayetteville, NC – The Shaw University Lady Bears bussed
to B&B Bowling Lanes off of Fort Bragg Road to participate in the CIAA
Bowling Round-up hosted by Fayetteville State University. The Lady Bears
finished third in the western division totaling 3,873 baker match pins for a
baker record of 2 – 3. Furthermore, Shaw bowled for sequential strikes and
spares as they had 12 match points for a team record of 4 – 6 in the weekend
round-up. In the overall event, the Lady Bears had 16 event points to be
positioned at in 7th place at the conclusion of the competition.
