Shaw University is a proud member of the

Rodney Callwood Named CIAA Player of the Week

(Raleigh, NC) – The CIAA today named Shaw’s Rodney Callwood its Player of the Week.  

Callwood (Sr., Hempstead, NY) scored a career-high 38 points, and had ten rebounds in Shaw’s 77-66 loss to Bowie State last Monday.  Thursday, Callwood had 22 points in Shaw’s loss to Livingstone, 53-49.  Callwood’s 60 points were more than half the Bears scored in those two games.

The Bears travel to Johnson C. Smith on Thursday for a 7:30 game.
