Three members of the Shaw University football team
have made the 2009 All-CIAA Pre-season Team. Running back Raymond Williams,
defensive lineman Dewayne Moss, and punt returner Robert Brown all received the
honor.
The all-conference team was announced at the Central
Intercollegiate Athletic Association annual Football Kick-Off Press Conference
held on the campus of Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA.
The selection is not only based on the player’s
performance in 2008, but the expectation of level of play in the 2009 season.
