Men's and Women's Cross Country Finish Eighth at Greensboro Invitational

Both the Shaw University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams finished eighth among Division II teams at the Greensboro Cross Country Invitational.

Raychelle Johnson was the top finisher for the Lady Bears with a time of 23:05.8 over the six kilometer course, to give her a 30th place finish. Donchelle Florence finished in 31st place with a time of 23:16.8.

For the men, Willie Stanley finished in 20th with a time of 28:56.6 over the eight kilometer course. Lawrence Lewis finished in 27th place with a time of 29:35.3.

Both the Bears and Lady Bears next run in the HBCU Challenge, in Cary, NC, on October 3.
